Ink bar and resaurant

It was once the landmark Jika Jika Hotel, then it was transformed into a well-known seafood restaurant by John Rubira, however today it breathes new life as the refurbished Ink Bar & Restaurant. It may have a new face and name; however the passion for fresh, high-quality seafood remains, with a unique selection of traditional and modern dishes, earning its place as one of Melbourne’s leading seafood restaurants.

Located on the city fringe, Ink enjoys a prominent location on the corner of Rae Street and Alexander Parade, in a transformed, historic hotel. It’s hard to miss!

To complement the new menu, the interior style reflects a classic yet modern style that creates a rich and inviting ambience, and includes a stylish bar for diners to enjoy pre-dinner drinks, or spend a relaxed afternoon with friends.

Ink provides a range of dining experiences, from seafood platters to share, a la carte options, or for the adventurous or just plain indecisive, there is our degustation menu where you can sample our extended range of culinary delights.
